next concerts ~ Rana Holail + Ever Present𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗹 sings her songs accompanied by her guitar since about a year now. She experiments with her voice as a new solo instrument, as she’s mostly experienced in singing in harmonic company (Uma Chine, HYM, Binti). A close friend summarized it like this after a concert: “I recognized you in your music; it’s romantic, melancholic, sensual and playful”
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 is the musical outlet of Tobias Volckaert, where everyday impressions and reflections are translated into sound. The project explores how melodies and harmonies can mirror shifting moods and thoughts. Each composition evolves organically, reinterpreting a single theme through changing tempo, dynamics, and color. Composed structures and moments of free improvisation shape the band’s distinctive sound.
