We’re starting down low in the valley at Bottoms Mill before climbing up to the wide-open high flatlands of Cartworth Moor. This 3-mile circular route rewards the short climb with big panoramic views stretching across much of Holmfirth’s outlying areas.
It’s a walk of contrasts — from riverside calm to breezy hilltop vistas — all at a steady, sociable pace. And yes, flapjack will be waiting for you at the end (big thanks, @centralcoopuk).
