ICAC & NSOD is proud to host a spectacular cultural event that brings to life one of the greatest epics of all time. 'RAMAYAN', a grand Bharatanatyam dance drama, promising an unforgettable evening of storytelling, music, and visual splendor.
This immersive production will feature over 50 accomplished dancers performing the ancient Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam, which dates back nearly 3,000 years. Through expressive movement, intricate rhythms, and powerful storytelling, the dancers will portray the life of Rama, the legendary prince of Ayodhya and the embodiment of virtue, courage, and dharma.
Accompanied by a live orchestra and English narration, the performance will guide the audience through Rama’s epic journey—from his royal birth and exile to his heroic battle against the demon king Ravana and his triumphant return to Ayodhya. The production will be enhanced by enchanting sets, vibrant costumes, and evocative lighting, creating a rich and immersive experience that celebrates the depth and beauty of Indian culture.
“This is more than a performance—it’s a cultural bridge,” says the event’s artistic director, Mrs. Sunitha Ra. “We’re inviting the community to experience the timeless values of love, honor, and righteousness through the universal language of dance and music.”
