Rotherham Hospice’s 2nd annual Ramadan Experience Day invites you to join us for Suhoor and Iftar as we come together during the holy month of Ramadan.Open to people of all faiths and none, this special day offers an opportunity to learn about Ramadan, share food, and connect with others in a welcoming and reflective space. Guests can choose to attend Suhoor, Iftar, or both.
🌙 Suhoor (pre-dawn)
📍 Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr, Russell Street, Eastwood, Rotherham S65 1RN
Take part in keeping the fast, enjoy food provided, tour the masjid and hear a short talk about Ramadan.
🌅 Iftar (evening)
📍 Coleridge Primary School, Coleridge Road, Rotherham S65 1LW
Open the fast together with dates and fruit, short talks and a shared community meal.
⚠️ Important booking information
Both Suhoor and Iftar are strictly by booking only. Spaces are limited and must be reserved in advance — no walk-ins.
👨👩👧👦 Everyone is welcome. Families are encouraged to attend (under-16s must be accompanied by an adult).
🍽️ The Iftar event will also include fundraising in support of Rotherham Hospice, helping us continue to add more life to every day for people living with a terminal illness.
