Respected Mandir Devotees, Trustees and Executives,Jai Shri Ram!
I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I trust you all had a wonderful time celebrating Deepawali.
First and foremost, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your love and support in hosting the Ayodhya Mandir Inauguration program this past February 2024. It was a momentous occasion, and your participation helped make it a grand success.
As we all know, the history of the Ayodhya Mandir spans 500 years. In recent times, under the visionary leadership of the late Maniniya Ashok Singhal Ji, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Bharat volunteers made tremendous efforts pouring blood and sweat to bring to fruition Bhagwan Ram Ji’s homecoming to Ayodhya. This has been a monumental achievement, and it holds great significance for Hindus across the world.
In light of this, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) strongly believes that January is our second Deepawali, and we would like to celebrate it in a grand manner, engaging all Hindu Mandirs and communities in the DC Metro area. We aim to honor our heritage, culture, and the spirit of Ram Rajya with a grand event.
As part of this celebration, VHPA is organizing a Ram Leela performance on January 25, 2025, and we are reaching out to request your blessings and support in hosting auditions for the adults and older youth from your Mandir congregation. For many of us who lived through the struggles of the '90s, this is a chance to showcase our deep emotions and our unwavering commitment to Lord Ram’s legacy.
We hope to confirm Gaithersburg or other similar facility easily accessible / drivable to communities across the DC Metro area.
We have attached the flyer with details about the auditions. Kindly review it and share it with your congregation, inviting them to participate in the Ram Leela auditions. Your support will be invaluable in making this event a success.
