February 24, 2025, marks three years since the beginning of russia’s and putin’s barbaric regime’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine - three years of heroic resistance, three years of fighting for freedom, three years of defending the democratic values of the world against tyranny.
We invite you to join us for a special commemoration on Monday, February 24, at Federation Square, starting at 6:00PM.
Now, more than ever, we must stand together! Ukraine is not only defending its own independence but also the security of Europe and the entire democratic world. russia’s and putin barbaric regime unprovoked aggression has already caused immense suffering, and its ambitions go beyond Ukraine. If we allow this evil to continue, soon other tyrannical regimes will be emboldened to threaten and invade more nations.
We call on everyone who stands for freedom and justice - come and show your support for Ukraine! Together, we must urge Australia to strengthen its support for Ukraine, which is on the frontline of the fight against dictatorship, tyranny and evil.
Let us unite on this important day! Glory to Ukraine!
We kindly ask attendees to bring photos of fallen soldiers—your friends, relatives, or loved ones—whose memory we must honour.
If you are unable to print a photo or prefer not to hold one personally, please let us know, and we will be happy to arrange it for you.

Also we encourage everyone to bring LED candle lights (instead of wax candles) to light during the gathering. AUV will have some LED candles available to distribute on the day.

Запрошуємо вас приєднатися до пам’ятного заходу вшанування України, який відбудеться у понеділок, 24 лютого, на Federation Square, початок о 18:00.
Сьогодні, як ніколи, ми маємо стояти разом! Україна бореться не лише за свою свободу, а й за безпеку Європи та всього демократичного світу. росія розпочала цю війну без жодних підстав, і тепер вона погрожує не лише Україні, а й іншим країнам. Якщо ми дозволимо цьому злу ширитися далі, незабаром інші тиранічні режими почнуть загрожувати та вторгатися в нові країни.
Ми звертаємося до всіх небайдужих: приходьте та висловіть свою підтримку Україні! Разом ми покажемо Австралії та всьому світові, що Україна не сама! Закликаємо уряд Австралії продовжувати та посилювати підтримку України, яка сьогодні є форпостом боротьби за свободу проти диктатури.
Будьмо єдині та підтримуймо нашу Україну! Слава Україні!
