Rally for Life: Save Turkey’s Stray Dogs
Join SPCA International, a NYC-based animal welfare organization, for a peaceful rally in support of Turkey's stray dog population. We are calling on the Turkish government to repeal the recently enacted law that threatens the lives of innocent stray dogs and to adopt humane, effective methods of population control, such as trapping, vaccinating,spaying and neutering.
This rally will unite animal welfare advocates and compassionate individuals to raise awareness, educate the public, and demand humane treatment for Turkey's stray dogs. Come lend your voice to this important cause and help us send a powerful message: cruelty is not a solution.
- The rally will be held at Pershing Square. We will then march together to the Turkish Consulate.
- We encourage you to bring signs. Please note that signs can't have sticks.
