About this Event
Join Richmond Hill families and neighbors for a joyful march and rally in Forest Park to call for a permanently car-free Freedom Drive, which is now open to vehicles despite community opposition. We will gather at 85th Ave & 102nd St. by PS 66 and walk together two block to Freedom Drive/Giovanelli Playground to call for a safer, greener, accessible Freedom Drive that prioritizes pedestrians of all ages and abilities and cyclists, not cars.
This is a family-friendly, all-ages event. Whether you walk, roll, bike, or stroll, come add your voice to a growing movement for a year-round car-free street in Forest Park. If you have not already signed the petition for a car-free Freedom Drive, you can sign here.
RSVPs are not required, but any changes to the event due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances will be shared via email with those who register.
