About this Event

Join us for an inspiring evening of storytelling as recent recipients of CGHP’s grants and ethical elective bursaries share their experiences. Discover how these healthcare professionals and students have contributed to health partnerships that are delivering global health impact, and how their experiences are shaping their clinical practice in the UK.

We’ll also be launching our 2024-2025 Impact Report – join us on the night to be the first to receive a copy and explore the evidence demonstrating the sustainable impact of CGHP.

This event is part of our Raising the Bar for Global Health event series – informal talks in venues around Cambridge that bring together people working on some of the biggest healthcare challenges of our time.

We’re delighted to be hosting this event at The Glasshouse (Botanic House) @ Innovate Cambridge. We hope you can join us to learn more about the impact of CGHP and connect with members of the global health community in Cambridge. Tickets are free and include light refreshments.

CGHP Grant Scheme – The next application window closes on 21 November 2025.
NHS staff working in the East of England can apply for a grant towards global health work that will be done on a voluntary basis with a low- or middle- income country. For more details, please visit https://cambridgeghp.org/grant-scheme/

CGHP Ethical Electives – All healthcare profession students currently in training in the East of England are eligible to undertake an ethical elective in a CGHP partnership. For more details, please visit https://cambridgeghp.org/ethical-electives/
