Raise the Bar Comedy has been putting sold out shows featuring Australia's funniest and finest women and nb comics for over 3 years!
After another amazing sold out show in July, we are back with an superstar stacked Aug 29 show! This very special show is a fundraiser for Palestine with proceeds going to Olive Kids**. The lineup is unlike you've ever seen before, featuring some of the biggest names in Australian comedy. Come join us for an evening of huge laughs whilst supporting an important cause. We believe laughter heals and we're inviting all Palestinians and supporters to this one-of-a-kind comedy night.
Our August fundraiser night features incredible Australian and International stars including:

- Nelly Thomas - Dear Nelly Podcast, RAW National Winner
- Han Arbuthnott - Opened for Hannah Gadsby, HILARIOUS
- Janty Blair - Deadly Funny Winner, amazing comic
- Rose Bishop - RAW Comedy Grand Finalist, one of our best!
- Urvi Majumdar - Metrosexual, Fisk, Freshblood, Festival Roadshow, top notch :)
- Sonia Di Iorio - The Project, highly acclaimed solo shows, funny AF
- Mazz Matta - an unorthodox comic from Lebanon, despite being raised Orthodox
We cannot believe how amazing this lineup. And you will get to see all of them in ONE show!!
The night is being hosted by Pakistani-Canadian comic Amna Bee who is known for her dry wit and strong opinions.
We will also have Amin G Abbas, a prominent Melbourne Palestinian activist and speaker, to provide important information and support our efforts!

Our venue is the very special and magical StoryVille! Storyville is a spectacular venue right in the CBD (185 Lonsdale Street, entry via laneway). They have the finest, most bewitching cocktails and plenty of non-boozy options. It's got everything we need to have the best time.
