Join us for an afternoon of discussion about all things books, pop culture, social justice, and any other topic that comes up on our chaos journey.
Led by a social worker and fellow book enthusiast, Cody (she/her), this isn't your average book club - it's a low-demand choose-your-own-adventure.
🌈 What to Expect:
- Diverse Book Discussions: The premise is that every month you share a book that you've recently read with the group. This means that you aren't forced into reading books you're not interested in and we all get new books to add to our never-ending TBR pile.
- Memes and Pop Culture Shenanigans: This isn't strictly a place where we only talk about books. Get ready for a healthy dose of laughter as we share our favorite memes/tiktoks, talk about pop culture and current social justice issues, and bond over our shared love for all things queer and neurodivergent!
- ADHD Chaos Welcome: Embrace the chaos as we navigate our tangential conversations and spontaneous bursts of creativity. In neurodivergent land, there's no such thing as staying strictly on topic - every tangent is a new adventure waiting to be explored!
- Inclusive Community: Whether you read or listen to books, or just come for the vibes and have no interest in books, everyone is welcome here. Our safe and inclusive space is built on mutual respect, empathy, and cis people being the minority (this is mostly a joke but sometimes the glorious reality).
The only condition of coming along is that you must respect everyone's identities and pronouns (which I'm sure you'll have no issues with as you are all great humans).
