What has 16 legs and jams for 10 minutes? A rainbow lightning team of course!Rainbow Lightning is an annual event hosted by South Sea Roller Derby. Come along to see bouting skaters from across the state showcase their skills in a round robin event to raise funds for the LGBTQI+ community!
Teams of EIGHT SKATERS play rounds of 10-MINUTE EPIC JAMS (with players subbing in and out) to score the most points and get their team to the final battle for the famed Rainbow Trophy!
When: Sunday, April 13th, 2025
Where: Casey Stadium
Time: First whistle at 10:30am, doors open at 10am
Tickets: $10, Under 16 Free
There will be delicious homemade goodies available at the world famous (*probably) SSRD Bake Sale, plus a raffle with fantastic prizes and awesome SSRD merch.
Seating may be limited so please BYO a blanket/camp chair/cushion for maximum comfort trackside!
