Greater Evansville Youth and River City Pride are excited to invite all local LGBTQIA+ youth and allies, ages 12-19, to the second annual Rainbow Formal being held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 6:30-10:00pm in Eykamp Hall at the University of Evansville! Tickets are $10 and proceeds will offset the cost of dance expenses. To ensure safety, dance attendees must be able to prove they are between the ages 12 and 19 (19 year olds must still be in high school) and provide an emergency contact when registering on the ticketing site or at the door. All adult chaperones, vendors and performers are background checked, and security will be provided on-site.
The dance will feature a DJ, drag show, photo booth, games, snacks, and Jeanne’s Gelato! A supervised quiet area will be available to accommodate sensory needs. We are so excited to offer a safe opportunity for a special night of fun, dancing, and community for local LGBTQIA+ youth! Get your tickets now.
Eykamp Hall is located inside the Ridgway University Center on the University of Evansville campus. All attendees will enter the Ridgway building from Walnut Street. There is a drop-off zone directly in front of the entrance for attendees being dropped off. Free parking for the event is available in Parking Lot H located on Frederick Street, next to the soccer field. Parking Lot H is also accessible from Weinbach Avenue.
