About this Event
To celebrate DMU Pride 2026, Rainbow Families will be taking over Leicester Gallery for an LGBTQ+ family workshop facilitated by Open Play artists Morgan and Tia. Morgan and Tia will be on hand to support children and their grown-ups to get creative exploring contemporary art, as well as giving people a chance to meet other LGBTQ+ families in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The event is FREE and open to all LGBTQ+ families, friends and allies.
The activities are aimed at children aged 0-10 years-old, older siblings are welcome to join in the fun too.
This event is part of DMU Pride to mark LGBTQ+ History Month.
The Children’s Clothes Swap will be available at this session, with clothes for ages 0–6 and donations warmly welcomed. Simply take what you need, and donate items back once your child outgrows them.
