About this Event
Join the Regional Environmental Council in collaboration with the Worcester Native Plant Initiative to revitalize the rain garden at the Worcester Senior Center. Rain gardens are a natural and sustainable way to collect rainwater and runoff utilizing native plant species.
This work day will be managed by the Worcester Native Plant Initiative with support from the REC; the Senior Center is home to one of the REC's community gardens and is an REC Mobile Market stop!
Volunteers will help to plant native perennial plants. All tools will be provided but if you are willing to bring your own, please do! Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
