This interactive community event for all ages includes real-world rescue scenarios and a powerful remembrance ceremony.
Witness Live Rail Safety in Action!
Live Impact & Rescue Demonstration: Witness a controlled collision between an automobile and a locomotive, followed by a live rescue demonstration by fire and rescue crews. See firsthand how responders save lives in the most dangerous scenarios.
The demonstration will take place at our Restoration Shop and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Guests can choose between an 11 am and 1:30 pm train ride for the demonstration. There are no restrooms at the collision site.

First Responder Showcase: Get up close with a variety of emergency vehicles, including powerful fire trucks, ambulances, patrol cars, and more. Chat directly with the dedicated police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders who protect our community every day.

Tribute to Our Heroes – Remembrance Ceremony with Color Guard at 12:30 PM: Join us for a Color Guard presentation honoring fallen first responders and the ongoing sacrifices made by those in uniform.
Come experience the action, honor our heroes, and learn lifesaving skills at the Rail Rescue and Response Showcase.
