Hamilton, NZ - Get ready to rock out at Rail Fest 6, Waikato's largest heavy metal and rock festival, celebrating its 6th birthday in style! This year's event promises to be the biggest and best yet, featuring an epic lineup of local and tribute bands, DJ sets, and a great cause to support.
Headlining the festival is the mighty Kaosis, with support from some of New Zealand's top tribute acts, including:
-Metadeth, performing tributes to Metallica and Megadeth
-Tonedown, paying homage to System of a Down and Deftones
-The Brews Brothers, covering Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and Faith No More
-The Never Minds, bringing the spirit of Nirvana to the stage
-The Green Daze, rocking out to Green Day's greatest hits
The festival will also feature a talented lineup of local support acts, including Acidmorph, Act of Vengeance, Dark Minotaur, Haast Hunter, INTHEIRIMAGE, Opposite Inverse, and Teraset. DJ sets by KHEMIKAL will keep the energy pumped with all your favourite metal and hard rock bangers.
Rail Fest 6 is presented by Heavy Mag, Bloodblast Distribution, and Rail Records, and will take place on March 29th at The Local Te Rapa, 36 Bryant Road, Te Rapa, Hamilton. Doors open at 2pm, and tickets are available now for:
-Under 18s: $10+ booking fee (must be accompanied by a legal guardian and leave by 9pm)
-Early Bird: $20+ booking fee
-General Admission: $30+ booking fee
-Late Tickets: $40+ booking fee
