EST/ENGRahvusvaheline rahvarõivakonverents Elav rahvarõivas 2 toimub
9. novembril 2025 Tallinnas Kultuurikatlas. Päev on pühendatud rahvarõivaste uurimisele, tänapäevastele tõlgendustele ning rahvusvahelisele kogemuste vahetusele. Ettekanded toimuvad eesti ja inglise keeles, tagatud on sünkroontõlge.
Konverentsil esinevad:

- Ave Matsin (Tartu Ülikooli Viljandi kultuuriakadeemia pärandtehnoloogia õppekava programmijuht ja lektor)
- Piret Puppart (Eesti Kunstiakadeemia professor, moeosakonna juhataja)
- Taina Kangas, Soome (Soome Rahvarõivakeskus, rahvarõivanõustaja)
- Anu Pink (pärandtehnoloog)
- Lina Odell, Rootsi (tekstiilikunstnik, esimene rahvarõivaste rätsepatöö meistritunnistuse saaja Rootsis)
- Liis Luhamaa (Tartu Ülikool, tekstiilispetsialist)
- Tiina Kull (Eesti Rahva Muuseum, nooremteadur/ Tartu Ülikool, etnoloogia doktorant)
- Ragni Engstrøm Nilsen, Norra (Norra Rahvarõivainstituut, kuraator ja arhivaar)
Teeme üleskutse kanda konverentsil rahvarõivaid ja rahvuslikke rõivaid.

The international folk costume conference Living Folk Costume 2 is dedicated to the study of folk costumes, contemporary interpretations, and international exchange of knowledge. Presentations will be held in Estonian and English, with simultaneous translation provided.
The conference will take place at the Tallinn Creative Hub, on November 9, 2025, from 10:00 to 17.00.

· Lina Odell, Sweden (Textile artist and Sweden’s first journeyman in folk costume tailoring)
· Liis Luhamaa (University of Tartu, Textile Specialist)
· Tiina Kull (Estonian National Museum, Junior Researcher / University of Tartu, PhD student in Ethnology)
· Ragni Engstrøm Nilsen, Norway (Norwegian Institute of Bunad and Folk Costume, Curator and Archivist)
We invite all participants to wear folk costumes or national dress at the conference.
