Rage Club Introduction

Transform your relationship with anger. Learn to use it consciously to create boundaries, declare what you want, and find your aliveness.
About this Event

Rage Club is a radical space where you have full permission to explore your anger – as ugly, loud, resentful, immature, or scary as it might be. This introduction is an experiential training. We will go through low and higher-level anger practices. You will transform your relationship with your anger so it benefits your life and the lives of those around you.
Many people fall into one of two camps when it comes to anger. Both of these ultimately lead to abuse, either of yourself or of others.
1) They are so afraid of their anger, they suppress it or pretend it doesn’t exist. Anger is bad! They struggle to hold boundaries and voice their no’s. They act as people pleasers or doormats.
2) They cannot control it, they “see red.” Anger comes out as violent and destructive and they use it to harm others.
Rage Club is about empowering you to be able to use your anger consciously. Your conscious anger is useful. It is what you need to set boundaries, say No!, find purpose, commit to others, and so much more. When you reclaim your conscious use of anger, you also reclaim your aliveness, your voice, and your ownership of what you care about in this world. When you can flow your anger, you tap into a wild, uninhibited, and pure part of your heart.
Price: $30 early-bird / $40 at the door
Schedule & Late Policy: Doors will close at 7:34pm. Please arrive on time as we will not be able to let people in late once we begin.
Your Facilitators:
Daway cares about helping people live lives they love. He worked as an emotions researcher for Microsoft Research's Human Understanding and Empathy group before he found the magic of holding in-person transformational spaces for people to unlock their full aliveness and sense of self.
Meredith is a community researcher and former school teacher who cares deeply about helping people become more alive and have better, more connected, and more intimate relationships with each other.
Together, they have over a thousand hours of training in holding transformational spaces through Possibility Management.
