The ‘CREATE Foundation’ was started by Raëll Padamsee in loving memory of her mother Pearl Padamsee as a public charitable trust on 8th April 2002 and since its inception, CREATE has worked on projects that integrate children from mainstream schools with children from less privileged and challenged backgrounds. CREATE stands for Children’s Research in Education, Arts and Theatre Endowment. CREATE is now in its 22nd year and we are very pleased to announce the 11th CREATE Trophy for Artistic Excellence. The theme for this year is ‘Breaking Barriers’ and the children have put together creative performances using acting, singing, dancing, and mime with the help of costumes and props. This year, 12 finalists were selected from 20 NGOs all across Mumbai to compete for the coveted trophy.
