Volunteers gathered the donations and tied tags with a special message to each stuffed animal; many added their own personal messages of hope to the tags. Thanks to this “labor of love” by so many wonderful volunteers and generous donors in San Diego Imperial Counties, Pastor John Quinata was able to deliver 5,490 stuffed animals to Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego (who supports local hospitals including Rady Children's Hospital), Jewish Family Service of San Diego, The Salvation Army Kroc Center, Pomerado Hospital, Palomar Medical Center, UC San Diego Health, and Corazón de Vida (supports orphanages in Mexico).
