Pittsburgh-based recording artist Radio 45 has emerged as a power pop icon over recent years in the tri-state area — headlining county fairs, community events and the vest best venues across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Comprised of a dynamic lineup of seasoned musicians, each member brings their own unique flair to the table, creating a sound that is both timeless and fresh. From anthemic choruses to irresistible hooks, Radio 45 delivers a sonic experience that leaves audiences craving more.
Radio 45 has been called "A piece of pure pop joy that sounds like a cross between The Knack and Fountains of Wayne.” (1). That comes naturally as the band’s influences include bands like The Knack, Cheap Trick, KISS and the Bay City Rollers (to name a few).
Gary, Aaron, Scotto and Msexy (Mark Wesesky) also appear as Radio 45 “alter ego” tribute acts named Petty 45 (a Tom Petty tribute), U245 (a powerhouse U2 tribute) and Cheap Trick 45 (a tribute the zany brilliance of Rick Neilson, Robin Zander, Bun E Carlos and Tom Peterson as Cheap Trick).
