About this Event
Radicle Dances explores growth, transformation, and the unseen forces that shape us. Just as a radicle is the first part of a seedling to emerge, anchoring and seeking nourishment, this showcase delves into themes of resilience, deep-rooted connections, and the continuous push toward expansion. Through movement that embodies grounding and emergence, Radicle Dances invites audiences to consider the interplay of stability and change, the delicate beginnings of transformation, and the radical potential of new growth. This project was made possible by the generous support of the Orange County Arts Commission's Artist Project Grant. Their commitment to the arts and local artists has been invaluable in bringing this work to life.
Featuring new choreographic works by Renay Aumiller, Killian Manning, Jess Shell, Aubrey Griffith-Zill and Jasmine Powell with live music by pianist Doug Jurs and digital projections by Ryan Rasmussen.
