Radical Readings: The Conditions of the Working Class

This year’s annual fundraising event for the Working Class Movement Library, Radical Readings: The Conditions of the Working Class, will be held at Maxwell Hall on Sunday 24th November, from 2PM to 5PM.

The event will will showcase readings that capture the history of working class struggle which has shaped our world. Performers include Maxine Peake, Christine Bottomley, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Jennifer Reid, and Oliver Lomax, with performances by The Tenementals and Manchester Radical Tradition.

Proceeds from the event will support our vital work in preserving radical working class history, promoting political education and putting class back on the agenda.
