Who's ready for a night of fun fellowship, great food, and the chance to get a whole new wardrobe without spending any money? Join us Saturday, September 6 at 6 pm for our first ever Radiant Women Clothing Swap!Here's all the deets:
READ ALL the instructions below. BELOW is all the info on how this will work and what you will need to do in advance and what to expect.
1. MOST clothing and accessories are welcome.
⁃ Athleisure and workout items are great.
⁃ Accessories Include: bras, jewelry, sunglasses, scarves, purses/bags, hats/headbands.
⁃ All seasons are welcome.
⁃ Maternity items will also be accepted!
2. NO-NOs (do not bring...):
-socks or shoes/footwear of any kind.
-underwear/bathing suits
-products such as makeup or hair/skin products
-Anything that is super old, extremely out of style, or ripped/stained kids/teens, or men's
3. How to prepare ahead of time:
-Start purging! (any season is welcome)
-Hang ALL dresses, skirts, rompers and tops. You will get to keep any hangers with the items you pick, but that being said… DON’T BRING YOUR SUPER NICE HANGERS! You won’t get them back.
-Neatly FOLD all bottoms and have them sorted by sizes. There will be assigned areas to make piles.
-Any small accessories, such as earrings, jewelry sets, or small hair pieces should be put in a plastic ziplock bag OR some type of box that can be opened for display. ALL separate items should be separated in advance!
To drop off clothes, you can:
1. Connect with Pastor Heather or Heather Kochon to drop off or pick up items prior to the event date;
2. Bring items to church on Sundays prior to the event date; or,
3. Bring items at the start of the event - 6 pm
*When you arrive, you will give your items to one of our volunteers so we can sort them onto size racks.
**Once the shopping begins, the bathrooms will be available try on any items.
***Please bring a tote or bag to carry around the items you find until you are finished.
****At the end of the night will be donated to Open Doors of Westfield.
Times:
6:00—6:30 Arrive and bring clothes to be sorted and mingle!
6:30-7:30 Shop around!
7:30-8/8:30 - Final Call and Clean up
