About this Event
Radiant Girls Connect is a new project organised by Radiant Ambitions CIC.
Join us at our fun-filled, creative skills sessions where you'll get to sew your own scrunchies and pillowcases. You will also learn how to make your own jewellery using beads. The bootcamp will round off on a Day 4 with a social and dining etiquette session that would immensely boost your communication and confidence.
Bootcamp outline:
- Tuesday, 28th May - Introduction to Sewing.
- Wednesday, 29th May - Sewing Creatively.
- Thursday, 30th May - Jewellery Making Using Beads.
- Friday, 31st May - Social and Dining Etiquette for young girls.
This is a holiday club for girls aged 12 to 17 to learn new creative skills that will enhance their wellbeing and friendships.
Girls aged 10 and 11 can attend with their mums in attendance. Parents will be required to sign a consent form for all girls under the age of 16.
This initiative has been made possible by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham through their NCIL grant.
