Join me for a Radiant Kundalini Yoga class at the Beauty Barn in Fillingham (behind the Christmas trees).Each session lasts a full 90 minutes so we have time dedicated for pranayama (breathing), meditation (including mantra) and deep relaxation. A typical class includes:

If you sign up to block bookings you will be invited to a private FaceBook group where you can connect with other students as I build an online as well as face to face yoga community. I will also share information, short kriya and meditations for you to practice at home.
I am trained by 3HO via the Sahej Academy, fully insured and hold my emergency first aid at work certificate. I have practiced yoga since I was a child, and kundalini for almost 15 years. I also taught Biology in schools for almost 20 years. Now I combine my love of teaching and of yoga to deliver a class that I hope leaves you feeling amazing.

PLEASE READ:
Kundalini yoga is not a traditional western style yoga class. It is an inward practice, often done with the eyes closed, and could be alikened to a moving meditation. Yet the postures can still be challenging. Movements are often dynamic (moving) and may be repeated or held for minutes at a time. On a physical level this helps us to sink deeply into the posture, and on a mental level it enables us to to experience mind over matter and allow us to take charge of our experience. If we can endure in yoga, we can endure in the rest of our life. We use specific musical artists or sound to support the practice. With the chanting it is often viewed as a more spiritual class rather than just a work out. It works on your emotions and different kriya are designed to target different glandular and nervous systems. I started practising because of the stillness it brought to my mind, and it also helped with my migraines (this is my personal experience only).
It has been brought to my attention that there are some strange things on the internet when you search for kundalini. If you have questions please ask me directly, or visit a reputable source such as 3HO, KRI or IKYTA, some of the things I have seen are not reflective of a true practice. Please be assured my training has been in depth, my personal experience of the practice is long and my teaching is ethical.
