Join us for RADfest 1.0 for a weekend of art, resilience, and community as we celebrate the soft reopening of Asheville's River Arts District. The event will take place on Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th from 12-6 both days. The River Arts District is home to hundreds of artists and on September 27th, 80% of the RAD was severely damaged by flooding from Hurricane Helene. Many studios, galleries, artworks, and supplies were lost and artists are working hard to rebuild. Now, more than ever, the artists and small businesses of the River Arts District need community support.
During the soft opening, visit open studios and galleries along Roberts St, Artful Way, Clingman Ave, and upper Depot St. Shop directly from displaced RAD artists set up in the Pinegate Renewables parking lot at 130 Roberts St. The event will feature food trucks and live music as we come together to rebuild and revitalize our beloved River Arts District.
Stay tuned for updates on participating studios, galleries, and artists, as well as parking information. Carpooling or walking to the event is encouraged. Your support means the world to River Arts District Artists—see you there!
