RADAR, the Radical Aotearoa Digital Archive, has been active for half a decade as of this February just passed. To celebrate this milestone, and to serve as an info session for this and related projects, we will be gathering on the afternoon of Sunday May 5th at Yours cafe in Dunedin.Event begins at 2pm with a short info session at 2:30pm, people are welcome to stay around to chat and peruse a small physical collection from the archive that will be on display for the afternoon. As well as a brief outline of RADAR, where the project is headed, and how to contribute, there will be similar sessions covering the New Zealand's Road to Socialism - Oral History Project and the Auckland Socialist Library and Research Project.
Cafe will be open for the events with many thanks from us to Yours for hosting this event. Please feel welcome to join us in celebrating what has been achieved thus far and look to the future for projects seeking to preserve and promote the history of radical New Zealand.
