R.A.D. Self Defense

Emphasis Enterprise is thrilled to partner with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office to offer a three-week self-defense series specifically designed for women! Join us on January 17, 24, and 31, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for an empowering experience. Please note that attendance is required for all three sessions in order to receive certification. Accepting ages 14 and up.

R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) is a comprehensive 12-hour self-defense course that focuses on personal safety and risk reduction strategies

Course Overview

• Safety Presentation (2.5 hours): Introduction to risk reduction strategies through a PowerPoint presentation.
• Physical Training (6.5 hours): Learn various striking and kicking techniques, along with defenses against bear hugs and choke holds.
• Dynamic Simulation (3 hours): Participants wear protective gear and practice defending against simulated aggressors in controlled scenarios.
