Come join us for a 5K/10K Race at Payne's Farm on Saturday, March 7, 2026! Start time is at 8:30 AM and we should be finished by 11:00 AM. The course is directly across the street from Zoar Baptist Church, 31334 Zoar Road, Locust Grove, VA 22508.The course is on dirt trails and open fields, so good walking or running shoes are a must! You will be walking/running on the very battlefield where the Battle of Payne's Farm took place in November 1863, as part of the Mine Run Campaign! The property is owned by the American Battlefield Trust for preservation and protection purposes. Friends of Wilderness Battlefield work with the American Battlefield Trust to help steward this property.
