About Rachel Morton-Young:
Award-winning comedian Rachel Morton-Young is an energetic Brit based in the Netherlands, known for her friendly and relatable comedic style.
As a scatty mum of two who thrives on organized chaos, Rachel finds constant inspiration in the quirks of expat life, from the challenges of raising kids abroad to embracing unique Dutch customs and the famously unsexy language.
A prominent figure on the English-speaking comedy scene in the Netherlands, Rachel has performed at various comedy festivals and recently brought her solo show, Dutch Courage, to the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2021, she was honored with the Best Stand-up award by worldwidecomedyawards.com.
Dutch Courage:
In her new solo show, Rachel takes audiences on a hilarious journey through her life in the Netherlands, blending witty observations of Dutch culture with an insider’s perspective on the cultural quirks and contrasts between her conservative British roots and her adopted, liberal Dutch home.
This is Rachel's first performance of Dutch Courage, since its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
