In today's climate, it's more important than ever to understand and advocate for DEI principles. Our session aims to:
- Define DEI: Explore and articulate what Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion mean in various contexts.
- Address Attacks on DEI: Examine the current challenges facing DEI efforts in school systems nationwide, analyzing opposing arguments and perspectives.
- Actionable Steps: Collaboratively compile a list of practical actions individuals can take, both on a personal and community level, to champion DEI values in their homes and communities, recognizing that education extends far beyond the classroom.
Registration Details:
- Each participant must register individually, except for those joining from the same device.
- 50 Free tickets are available.
- Additionally, 50 Tickets requiring a donation are open for registration. Any donation of at least $1 is appreciated, with a suggested contribution of $7 to support our ongoing efforts.
