Race (2016) explores Jesse Owens' quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history. His quest thrusts Owens onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics, where he faces off against Adolf Hitler's vision of Aryan supremacy. Dr. Rachel Silverman – UNK Kinesiology & Sport Science, Dr. Lina Homberger-Cordia – sports historian, and UNK students will react to themes raised in the film.
