A race night to raise money for the 8th Darlington (Cockerton Green) Scout Group
About this Event

Tickets: £7 per person (available from the Den or online, with an additional online booking fee)

This event is a fantastic way to raise much-needed funds for the group, and we encourage you to invite family and friends along. However, please note that the event is not aimed at children, although they may attend.

How the Race Night Works:

There will be 8 horse races screened during the night. Before each race, attendees can place a bet on one of the 8 horses, with each betting ticket costing £1. If your horse wins, you will receive a cash prize based on the odds.

As an added way to get involved, we are offering the chance to become a ‘Horse Owner’ for one of the races. For £5, you can name a horse, and if your horse wins the race, you’ll receive a bottle of wine! Get in touch soon to secure your horse and have your chosen name featured in the Race Night Programme.
Bar: There will be a bar serving beer, cider, and wine throughout the evening.

Auction Race: The final race of the night will be a special Auction Race, where each horse will be sold to the highest bidder. The winner of the race will receive 50% of the total pot for that race, so this could be your chance to win big!

Please note that bets will be cash only and only the bar will accept card.
