Open invite for all to attend to support Coventrians very own Mk and Jk.Jk is our current first team captain and lucky fiancé of Marykate.
For those who may not know of the background as to why we are hosting this night.
Marykate is 29.
She was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in March 2024. She went through 6 rounds of chemo but was then told in September 2024 that it had spread to her bones and wasn't curable. The cancer had spread to her spine and hips. She then had a mastectomy in September. After recovery she then started chemo tablets. In January 2025 she was then told that it had spread to her liver and put back on to IV chemo, which she will be on for the foreseeable future.
The couple want to cement their love for each while they still can and as a club we want to do all we can to help make their special day as awesome as possible.
The format of the evening
There will be 8 races on the night.
Each race will have 8 owners who pay a minimum of £20 sponsorship with the winning owner of each race receiving £80.
Each race will also have 8 jockeys who pay a minimum of £10 sponsorship with the winning jockey of each race receiving £40.
All proceeds will go to the happy couple.
We would urge owners and jockeys to dress accordingly on the night. They will also be able to choose a name which doesn't have to be their own.
So please buy tickets from the bar in advance £5 and if you can’t make it then please do pledge your support in anyway you can.

After a mixed few months it’s time to pull together and put on a night to remember for these two absolute legends.
