We're happy to inform you that the Shelby County Drug Court Foundation will hold the Race for Recovery 5K race on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The whole thing will take place in Overton Park. This will be our ninth annual Race for Recovery. Following the race, we will have medals and awards ceremony.We invite you to run with us. Drug Court has been helping people with alcohol and drug problems and their families for over twenty years. It does this by reducing drug use, reducing crime, saving money, restoring lives, saving children, and reuniting families.
All proceeds from the 5K will go directly toward offering services to participants in the Drug Court program. Services that help our participants become productive, tax-paying members of Shelby County. These participants, in turn, will strengthen our community.
