About this Event
In the nonprofit sector, creating inclusive spaces where diverse voices are heard and valued is essential for meaningful impact. This workshop explores how race, culture, and belonging shape our personal and professional experiences, emphasizing the importance of honest and transparent dialogue. Participants will engage in guided discussions to share perspectives (especially those that may not align with the majority) and explore how their backgrounds inform their understanding of social change.
Through interactive activities, attendees will collectively identify the needs of diverse communities within nonprofit organizations and generate actionable insights on how leadership, staff, and partners of our work can foster belonging.
This workshop is designed for nonprofit professionals, volunteers, and advocates who seek to strengthen inclusivity, amplify underrepresented perspectives, and build more equitable organizations.
