Join us for the Opening Splash, part of our open water endurance series! The race reverses the iconic Eyebright Mile, starting at Tahunanui Beach and finishing at the yacht club ramp. For a shorter challenge, the 600m option begins at Richardson St Steps and also finishes at the yacht club.Race Day Schedule
6:15 am Check-in opens
7:00 am Check-in closes (no late entries or check-ins)
7:05 am Race briefing ALL swimmers must be out of the water, on the ramp, ready for the swim and listen carefully to the race briefing.
7:15 am Race start (Long course)
*7:45 am *(approx. start time may vary) (Short course, start Richardson St steps. Short course swimmers must attend the race briefing at Tahunanui Beach at 10:10 am)
