You’re invited to join us at Capri Theatres to watch Rabbit Proof-fence on the 27 May at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. The Rabbit-Proof Fence is a true story set in the 1930’s. Three Aboriginal girls escape from a settlement after being forcibly removed from their homes to be trained as domestic staff (a policy at the time). The girls tracked over 1,600 kilometres by foot to get home by following the rabbit proof fence.
As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and our commitment to giving back to our members, we’re inviting all staff and community members to attend our FREE movie night at the Capri theatre.
In addition to the screening of Rabbit-Proof Fence, you’ll witness Uncle Moogy perform his Welcome to Country and get to know the students and staff from community partner, Tjindu Foundation.
Make a night of it and bring your families. Book your free tickets at the link before they sell out!
