Experience a soulful multilingual Carnatic concert that journeys through the many shades of devotion, led by 18-year-old vocal prodigy Sooryagayathri.
Exploring the emotional contrasts and divine depth of Carnatic music, this multilingual concert traces how different ragas can evoke varied shades of devotion. Through timeless compositions of legendary composers, the performance offers a soulful journey into the heart of bhakti, where melody becomes both prayer and storytelling.
The evening is led by Sooryagayathri, an 18-year-old vocalist whose bhava-rich voice has drawn comparisons to the legendary M.S. Subbulakshmi. A prodigious talent, she received the prestigious M.S. Subbulakshmi Fellowship at just 10 years old and has since earned numerous national honours. With over 500 performances across India and international stages, her devotional music has resonated deeply – garnering more than 100 crore views online. Her rendition of ‘Sri Ram Chandra Kripalu’ was personally shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Ram Mandir Pran-Pratishtha celebrations, further cementing her place as a rising voice in India’s spiritual music tradition.
