About this Event

Colleagues from Mid Cheshire Hospitals will be talking to attendees about the challenges of finding RAAC and its ongoing management. There will be a tour of some areas of the hospital for those who want to take part.

In the afternoon, Stewart Robertson, HM Principal Specialist Inspector of Health and Safety (Radiation) will be presenting to members about changes to the process for assessing and granting consents under the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17), that will affect healthcare and other services who carry out work with ionising radiation or work in an atmosphere containing radon above a certain levels.

This event is open to members and non members and plans to cover the following IOSH competencies: Principles of health and safety and other legislative frameworks (Technical), Business context- internal and external (Core) and Collaboration (Behavioural) at the Understand and Lead levels.
