R WE OK? Support Act Fundraiser: Terra Rouge, Earth Cadet (Djaara) & Rivera

'R WE OK?' is the Liberate Community's first showcase and fundraiser. Held on R U OK Day, we wanted to create an opportunity for giving and receiving community care - something we champion at all shows, all year. To highlight the importance of mental health support and community, we will be donating Liberate Community's door profits to Support Act: the music industry’s charity, providing crisis relief, mental health and wellbeing support across all roles and genres of music. Their great work includes the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Program, and the 24/7 Support Act Wellbeing Helpline.
This event showcases the Liberate Community: the people who have we met, been celebrated by and collaborated with (so far) in 2025:
Terra Rouge: rock princess and queer icon Terra Rouge is breaking out of Melbourne’s underground with a slick, modern take on pop-punk. Gritty guitar, punchy vocals, and sarcastic-laced lyrics define her sound, while her interactive, high-energy live shows deliver the full VIP Terra Rouge experience. With a growing legacy of weekly gigs, sold-out headliners, and a national tour behind her debut album So Fucking Over It, Terra Rouge is an angsty powerhouse on the rise.
Earth Cadet: is Bendigo, Victoria’s premier Alt-Rock trio, blending Grunge, Shoegaze, and Post-Hardcore into a potent cocktail of jagged riffs and anthemic hooks. Their 2024 debut EP Tales From End drew radio play, playlist placements, and critical acclaim. Fresh off a Victorian tour supporting their latest singles ‘Broken Bones’, ‘Ladder’ and ‘Syntax Error’, their electrifying live shows are quickly earning them a fervent following.
Rivera: is a Melbourne-based alternative band made up of five young musicians with diverse influences that come together in a gritty, soulful, and textured sound. Built around the powerhouse vocals of frontman Matt Mcleod—who fully embodies the band’s bold energy. Rivera’s unique sonic palette and magnetic stage presence light up every room they play. True to their cheeky nature, Rivera wants their audience to know that their frontman is indeed “hot n single.”
