Quotes from the Earth an environmental film festival is organised from December 6 to December 7 this year at India International Centre (IIC) New Delhi.
The festival was started in 2004 with the aim to create awareness among the public about the environment and take forward the conversation on environmental conservation.
Entry to the festival is completely free! .
Films from all over the world on various raging issues like vanishing biodiversity mining lives of indigenous communities global climate crisis lakes and river contamination forest conservation and household waste to solutions for combating global energy challenges would be a part of the festival.
Attendees will watch environmental films featuring stories from across the globe. Highlights of films from India include a documentary on “Mustafa” a legendary man-eating tiger from Uttar Pradesh and the feature film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga starring Pankaj Tripathi. We have films from Chile Argentina the US Africa Indonesia Latin America
The film festival would be a vibrant celebration with Dance performances High tea along with a panel discussion with Directors from all over India.
