NAMI Family Support Groups, offered by NAMI Affiliates in communities across the country, are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family member can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges.
The support group will be held on the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30pm at the Quincy Public Library.
This support group is only for family members who have a loved one experiencing a mental health condition. In order to create a safe space where everyone feels comfortable to share open and honestly, we ask that your loved ones who have a mental health condition do not attend with you. Instead, they can attend a Connections Support Group, where they can also be open, honest, and share their own struggles with an understanding group of peers.
