Animal Shelter
on Saturday January 18
Fletcher's Homemade is proud to host 'Quilts for Critters', with Donna Horowitz of Designs by Donna. Join us on Saturday, March 28 starting at 1pm as we sew for an amazing cause. It's also a good opportunity to clear out your stash of fabric leftovers! Come by the shop, bring fabric that has languished in your collection, and let's make quilts to donate to the Animal Shelter. Our lovingly made quilts will warm and comfort the dogs and kitties at the shelter while they wait for their forever homes. You will need your own sewing machine and know how to use it, also bring basic sewing supplies and thread. This is a beginner friendly project. Our easy made quilts will be small to fit in the shelters crates (slightly smaller in the kitty version). Quilts will be delivered to the Washington & Elizabethton Animal Shelter in May , so plenty of time for you to sew 'homework' and deliver finished quilts to the shop. We are also collecting pet food and related items to donate as well. If you would like to donate or join the sewing team, sign up today! Light refreshments will be provided at the event.
* We will using the space at Under Valley Hobbies for this event . 2 doors down from Fletcher's Homemade.
