Quilters & quilt enthusiasts are invited to NAPL for an interactive workshop with master quilter Carol Baldwin.Discover the history of quilts in America, including the story of Alice Stock, who created a quilt in 1910 that is now in the possession of Baldwin, her great-granddaughter.
Participants will receive a free small quilting kit with fabric, batting & backing, and learn how to thread a needle and make a running stitch, the backbone of handmade quilts.
3rd floor community room. Ages 16 and up. SPACES ARE LIMITED & REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
