Carolyn will lead us in a workshop to create a one-of-a-kind jacket, perfect for winters in Pensacola.
This class cannot be paid for online. You must pay by cash or check (Made out to Carolyn Stoops) at the store in advance of the class.
Bring a snack or lunch. The store has a microwave and a refrigerator - no need to go out
Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: you need to be comfortable sewing on a machine
Requirements: Sewing machine with power cord, foot pedal, and a straight stitching foot, a zig zag foot, and a quarter inch foot. A walking foot is an MUST if you have one. Thread to match sweatshirt and fabrics, scissors (large and small), rotary cutter and long ruler, tape measure, basting thread and needle (or safety pins for basting), fabric marking pen or pencil, long pins and a pin cushion, seam ripper, buttons (optional) FABRICS: A unisex crew neck sweatshirt with set in sleeves (not raglan sleeves!) 6 coordinated fabrics in 100% cotton (choose one primary fabric and 5 that work with it) for Small/Medium: 1/2 yard of 5 fabrics, 1 yard of primary fabric For Large/XL: 3/4 yard of 5 fabrics, 1.25 yards of primary fabric For 2XL/3XL: 1.25 yards of 5 fabrics, 1.5 yards of primary fabric AVOID directional fabrics! (or buy twice as much as otherwise required)
