In this class you will make a beautiful and colorful mandala design. Kathy Peters will teach the fine art of paper quilling, or paper filigree. This art has been in existence since the 15th century as a favorite pastime for nuns and monks in the monasteries. It was since enjoyed several resurgences with new styles and techniques, but the original heart of the art remains. Today, quilling has begun yet another resurgence and many artists around the world have developed their own flair to make their creations their own.
Kathy has been quilling for over 20 years, displaying her art across the country and selling her art around the world.
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
