A Note from the Head Visionary, Ayana: ( Join me as I explore nostalgia from the many nights spent in some of my favorite Izakaya's in my hometown of Osaka. I will be making some tapas + shareables. I'm also leaving the option for guests to bring an ingredient of their own that they'd like to try, I will prepeare a small dish for them on the spot! Let's play and get to know each other! <3)
Envelop yourself in an evening of safe, soft and warm communal expression as we invite you into a night of storytelling and all of its forms. This Midnight Diner (Shinya Shokudo or 深夜食堂) is inspired by the famed Japanese Izakayas, or a Japanese bar where a variety of small tapas style dishes and snacks are served typically alongside Sake and other alcoholic beverages.
This space has been highly curated as a transition into the soul of the later night festivities, for those wanting to experience a less stimulating nightlife into a third space where one can enjoy the communal activites of connecting with friends old and new, partake in quality dishes & sake while engaging in the cultural exchange between yourself and Head Visionary Ayana as she explores nostalgia from her Osaka roots.
